Sañjaya uvāca
श्वशुरान् सुहृदश्चैव सेनयोरुभयोरपि |
तान् समीक्ष्य स कौन्तेयः सर्वान् बन्धूनवस्थितान् ||

śvaśurān suhṛdaś caiva senayor ubhayor api |
tān samīkṣya sa kaunteyaḥ sarvān bandhūn avasthitān ||

Fathers-in-law and dear friends too — in both armies. Seeing all these kinsmen thus arrayed, the son of Kunti —
The verse is deliberately left suspended, mirroring Arjuna's own suspension at the edge of action. Even allies on his own side are kin of those he must fight. There is no side that does not contain his people.
