Chapter X · Śloka 27
उच्चैःश्रवसमश्वानां विद्धि माममृतोद्भवम् ।
ऐरावतं गजेन्द्राणां नराणां च नराधिपम् ॥

uccaiḥśravasam aśvānāṃ viddhi mām amṛtodbhavam |
airāvataṃ gajendrāṇāṃ narāṇāṃ ca narādhipam ||
airāvataṃ gajendrāṇāṃ narāṇāṃ ca narādhipam ||
Among horses know Me as Uccaiḥśravas, born from the churning of the ocean of nectar; among lordly elephants I am Airāvata; and among human beings I am the king.
Uccaiḥśravas, the divine white horse, and Airāvata, Indra's white elephant, both arose from the churning of the cosmic ocean (Kṣīrasāgara-manthana). Among humans the king embodies divine authority and stands as the apex of worldly power.
