Chapter XI · Śloka 14
ततः स विस्मयाविष्टो हृष्टरोमा धनञ्जयः ।
प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं कृताञ्जलिरभाषत ॥

tataḥ sa vismayāviṣṭo hṛṣṭa-romā dhanañjayaḥ ।

Then, overwhelmed with amazement, with hair standing on end, Dhanañjaya bowed his head to the Lord, and with joined palms spoke.
Arjuna's body registers the numinous through the classical signs of sacred awe — horripilation and involuntary prostration. Speech follows only after the gesture of complete surrender (kṛtāñjali).
