Chapter XI · Śloka 36
Arjuna uvāca
अर्जुन उवाच |
स्थाने हृषीकेश तव प्रकीर्त्या
जगत्प्रहृष्यत्यनुरज्यते च |
रक्षांसि भीतानि दिशो द्रवन्ति
सर्वे नमस्यन्ति च सिद्धसङ्घाः ||
arjuna uvāca |
sthāne hṛṣīkeśa tava prakīrtyā
jagat prahṛṣyaty anurajyate ca |
rakṣāṃsi bhītāni diśo dravanti
sarve namasyanti ca siddha-saṅghāḥ ||
Arjuna said: O Hṛṣīkeśa, it is fitting that the world delights and rejoices in Your glory. The demons flee in terror in all directions, and all the hosts of perfect beings bow before You.
Arjuna recovers enough to praise — but it is not courtly praise; it is the report of a witness. Creation itself responds to the divine with joy, even as the demonic forces cannot bear the encounter.
