Chapter XVIII · Śloka 50
सिद्धिं प्राप्तो यथा ब्रह्म तथाप्नोति निबोध मे |
समासेनैव कौन्तेय निष्ठा ज्ञानस्य या परा ||
समासेनैव कौन्तेय निष्ठा ज्ञानस्य या परा ||
siddhiṃ prāpto yathā brahma tathāpnoti nibodha me |
samāsenaiva kaunteya niṣṭhā jñānasya yā parā ||
samāsenaiva kaunteya niṣṭhā jñānasya yā parā ||
How one who has attained perfection reaches Brahman — hear that from Me briefly, O son of Kuntī. That is the highest culmination of knowledge.
Having described the nature of perfection, Krishna now offers to describe the final step: the transition from siddhi to Brahman itself. The teaching is compressed by design — what follows points at what cannot be fully contained in words.
