Chapter XVIII · Śloka 78
यत्र योगेश्वरः कृष्णो यत्र पार्थो धनुर्धरः ।
तत्र श्रीर्विजयो भूतिर्ध्रुवा नीतिर्मतिर्मम ॥
तत्र श्रीर्विजयो भूतिर्ध्रुवा नीतिर्मतिर्मम ॥
yatra yogeśvaraḥ kṛṣṇo yatra pārtho dhanur-dharaḥ |
tatra śrīr vijayo bhūtir dhruvā nītir matir mama ||
tatra śrīr vijayo bhūtir dhruvā nītir matir mama ||
Wherever there is Krishna, the Lord of yoga, and wherever there is Pārtha, the archer — there, I am certain, will be prosperity, victory, happiness, and righteousness.
The Gita's final verse is Sañjaya's declaration of absolute certainty: where the Lord of yoga and the perfected devotee-warrior stand together, all auspicious qualities — śrī, vijaya, bhūti, nīti — are assured. This is the eternal promise of the union of divine grace and human surrender.
