Chapter V · Śloka 19
Śrī Kṛṣṇa uvāca
इहैव तैर्जितः सर्गो येषां साम्ये स्थितं मनः |
निर्दोषं हि समं ब्रह्म तस्माद्ब्रह्मणि ते स्थिताः ||
ihaiva tair jitaḥ sargo yeṣāṃ sāmye sthitaṃ manaḥ |
nirdoṣaṃ hi samaṃ brahma tasmād brahmaṇi te sthitāḥ ||
Even here in this world, rebirth is conquered by those whose mind is established in equality. Since Brahman is flawless and equal, they are established in Brahman.
Liberation is not deferred to another life or another realm — it happens here, in this world, in the mind that has found the ground of equanimity. Brahman is the same everywhere, in all beings; the equanimous mind mirrors that sameness and is therefore already resting in Brahman.
