Chapter VII · Śloka 22
Śrī Kṛṣṇa uvāca
स तया श्रद्धया युक्तस्तस्याराधनमीहते ।
लभते च ततः कामान्मयैव विहितान्हि तान् ॥

sa tayā śraddhayā yuktas tasyārādhanam īhate |
labhate ca tataḥ kāmān mayaiva vihitān hi tān ||
labhate ca tataḥ kāmān mayaiva vihitān hi tān ||
Endowed with that faith, he engages in the worship of that deity and from it obtains his desires — for those boons are in truth granted by Me alone.
All effective grace in the cosmos flows ultimately from the one Supreme; the apparent deity that grants the boon is a channel, not the independent source. The word vihitān (ordained, dispensed) places Krishna as the hidden ordainer behind all devotional fulfillment.
