Chapter IX · Śloka 28
शुभाशुभफलैरेवं मोक्ष्यसे कर्मबन्धनैः ।
संन्यासयोगयुक्तात्मा विमुक्तो मामुपैष्यसि ॥
संन्यासयोगयुक्तात्मा विमुक्तो मामुपैष्यसि ॥
śubhāśubha-phalair evaṃ mokṣyase karma-bandhanaiḥ |
saṃnyāsa-yoga-yuktātmā vimukto mām upaiṣyasi ||
saṃnyāsa-yoga-yuktātmā vimukto mām upaiṣyasi ||
In this way you shall be freed from the bonds of action and its good and evil fruits; with the self united in the yoga of renunciation, liberated, you shall come to Me.
Offering every action to the Lord dissolves the karmic bondage that accumulates from both good and bad deeds. The inner renunciation (saṃnyāsa-yoga) achieved this way is the direct path to liberation.
