Chapter XII · Śloka 2
Śrī Kṛṣṇa uvāca
मय्यावेश्य मनो ये मां नित्ययुक्ता उपासते ।
श्रद्धया परयोपेता मे युक्ततमा मताः ॥

mayy āveśya mano ye māṃ nitya-yuktā upāsate |
śraddhayā parayopetā me yukta-tamā matāḥ ||
śraddhayā parayopetā me yukta-tamā matāḥ ||
Those who fix their minds on Me, who worship Me always, endowed with supreme faith — these I consider to be the most perfect in yoga.
Krishna gives his clear verdict: the devotee who concentrates the mind directly on the personal form of the Lord, with unwavering faith, is the highest yogi. Supreme śraddhā (faith) is the distinguishing quality.
