Chapter XIII · Śloka 35
क्षेत्रक्षेत्रज्ञयोरेवमन्तरं ज्ञानचक्षुषा ।
भूतप्रकृतिमोक्षं च ये विदुर्यान्ति ते परम् ॥
भूतप्रकृतिमोक्षं च ये विदुर्यान्ति ते परम् ॥
kṣetra-kṣetrajñayor evam antaraṃ jñāna-cakṣuṣā |
bhūta-prakṛti-mokṣaṃ ca ye vidur yānti te param ||
bhūta-prakṛti-mokṣaṃ ca ye vidur yānti te param ||
Those who perceive with the eye of knowledge this difference between the field and the knower of the field, and the liberation of beings from the nature of the manifest — they go to the Supreme.
The chapter closes with its final promise: those who, through the eye of discriminative wisdom, clearly perceive the distinction between the inert field and the conscious Knower — and thereby attain release from identification with manifest nature — reach the Supreme Absolute.
