Chapter XV · Śloka 19
यो मामेवमसम्मूढो
जानाति पुरुषोत्तमम् ।
स सर्वविद्भजति मां
सर्वभावेन भारत ॥
जानाति पुरुषोत्तमम् ।
स सर्वविद्भजति मां
सर्वभावेन भारत ॥
yo mām evam asammūḍho
jānāti puruṣottamam |
sa sarva-vid bhajati māṃ
sarva-bhāvena bhārata ||
jānāti puruṣottamam |
sa sarva-vid bhajati māṃ
sarva-bhāvena bhārata ||
He who, undeluded, knows Me thus as the Puruṣottama — he knows everything and worships Me with his whole being, O Bhārata.
The knower of the Supreme Person is the knower of all, because all knowledge finds its root and culmination in the Supreme. Such a one naturally and completely offers every dimension of their being in devotion — knowledge and bhakti are here shown to be inseparable.
