Chapter XVI · Śloka 19
तानहं द्विषतः क्रूरान्संसारेषु नराधमान् ।
क्षिपाम्यजस्रमशुभानासुरीष्वेव योनिषु ॥

tān ahaṃ dviṣataḥ krūrān saṃsāreṣu narādhamān |
kṣipāmy ajasram aśubhān āsurīṣv eva yoniṣu ||

These cruel, hateful, and most degraded among men — I hurl them repeatedly into the wombs of demons in the cycle of rebirth.
Krishna's statement here is not vindictive but cosmological: those who cultivate demoniac qualities naturally regenerate in conditions that amplify those qualities, reinforcing the cycle. Ajasram ('perpetually') underscores that this is a self-perpetuating trajectory, not an arbitrary punishment.
