अहिंसा सत्यमक्रोधस्त्यागः शान्तिरपैशुनम् ।
दया भूतेष्वलोलुप्त्वं मार्दवं ह्रीरचापलम् ॥

ahiṃsā satyam akrodhas tyāgaḥ śāntir apaiśunam |
dayā bhūteṣv aloluptvaṃ mārdavaṃ hrīr acāpalam ||

Non-violence, truth, freedom from anger, renunciation, tranquillity, absence of calumny, compassion for all beings, freedom from greed, gentleness, modesty, absence of fickleness —
The catalogue of divine qualities continues: non-violence and truth anchor ethical life, while absence of calumny (apaiśunam) and modesty (hrī) refine social virtue. Compassion for all beings (dayā bhūteṣu) shows that the divine disposition extends care beyond the human circle.
