Free from attachment, without ego-talk, endowed with steadiness and enthusiasm, unchanged in success and failure — such an agent is called sāttvika.
The sāttvika doer is the karma-yogī in full flower: liberated from clinging, free of self-advertisement, constant in energy and equanimity regardless of outcome. This portrait closes the first movement of Krishna's answer.
