Chapter II · Śloka 61
tāni sarvāṇi saṃyamya yukta āsīta mat-paraḥ |
vaśe hi yasyendriyāṇi tasya prajñā pratiṣṭhitā ||
vaśe hi yasyendriyāṇi tasya prajñā pratiṣṭhitā ||
Having restrained all these senses, one should sit absorbed, with Me as the Supreme. For one whose senses are under control, wisdom is firmly established.
The remedy for verse 60's danger is not more technique but devotional absorption in the Supreme (mat-paraḥ). When the mind is wholly drawn to Krishna, the pull of the senses simply loses its force — not conquered by opposition but displaced by a greater love.
