Tvam · Chapter II
Sāṅkhya Yoga
The Yoga of Knowledge
Krishna begins his teaching with the philosophy of the immortal self — the ātman never born, never dying. He introduces the paths of knowledge and action, and describes the marks of true wisdom. The sthitaprajña, the one of steady wisdom, becomes the Gita's first portrait of the enlightened soul.
