Chapter III · Śloka 32
ये त्वेतदभ्यसूयन्तो नानुतिष्ठन्ति मे मतम् ।
सर्वज्ञानविमूढांस्तान्विद्धि नष्टानचेतसः ॥
ye tv etad abhyasūyanto nānutiṣṭhanti me matam |
sarva-jñāna-vimūḍhāṃs tān viddhi naṣṭān acetasaḥ ||
But those who, carping at this teaching of Mine, do not follow it — know them to be lost, bereft of all discernment, senseless.
Those who reject this wisdom out of envy or intellectual arrogance are condemned to wander in ignorance, having destroyed their own capacity for discernment. Their carping blinds them to the very knowledge that could free them.
