Chapter IX · Śloka 10
मयाध्यक्षेण प्रकृतिः सूयते सचराचरम् ।
हेतुनानेन कौन्तेय जगद्विपरिवर्तते ॥

mayādhyakṣeṇa prakṛtiḥ sūyate sa-carācaram |
hetunānena kaunteya jagad viparivartate ||

Under My superintendence, nature brings forth the moving and the unmoving. By this cause, O son of Kuntī, the world revolves.
Prakṛti is not autonomous — it operates under the watchful presidency of the Lord. The entire turning of the cosmic wheel, every birth and death, has this single divine witness as its ground.
