Chapter IX · Śloka 33
किं पुनर्ब्राह्मणाः पुण्या भक्ता राजर्षयस्तथा ।
अनित्यमसुखं लोकमिमं प्राप्य भजस्व माम् ॥
अनित्यमसुखं लोकमिमं प्राप्य भजस्व माम् ॥
kiṃ punar brāhmaṇāḥ puṇyā bhaktā rājarṣayas tathā |
anityam asukhaṃ lokam imaṃ prāpya bhajasva mām ||
anityam asukhaṃ lokam imaṃ prāpya bhajasva mām ||
How much more, then, the holy brāhmaṇas and devoted royal sages! Having reached this impermanent and joyless world, worship Me.
If even those with disadvantaged births can attain liberation through devotion, then those already endowed with purity and wisdom have every advantage. The argument culminates in a direct injunction: worship Me now, for this world is impermanent and joyless.
