Chapter IX · Śloka 34
man-manā bhava mad-bhakto mad-yājī māṃ namaskuru |
mām evaiṣyasi yuktvaivam ātmānaṃ mat-parāyaṇaḥ ||
mām evaiṣyasi yuktvaivam ātmānaṃ mat-parāyaṇaḥ ||
Fix your mind on Me, be My devotee, worship Me, bow down to Me. So uniting yourself, with Me as your supreme goal, you shall come to Me.
Four imperatives close the chapter and the teaching: think of Me, be devoted to Me, worship Me, bow to Me. These four acts — cognitive, relational, ritual, and reverential — together constitute the complete life of devotion. The promise is unconditional: such a one comes to Me.
