Chapter XI · Śloka 4
मन्यसे यदि तच्छक्यं मया द्रष्टुमिति प्रभो ।
योगेश्वर ततो मे त्वं दर्शयात्मानमव्ययम् ॥

manyase yadi tac chakyaṁ mayā draṣṭum iti prabho ।
yogeśvara tato me tvaṁ darśayātmānam avyayam ॥
yogeśvara tato me tvaṁ darśayātmānam avyayam ॥
If You think it possible for me to behold it, O Lord, then reveal to me, O master of yoga, Your imperishable Self.
Arjuna humbly defers to Kṛṣṇa's judgment about whether a mortal can endure the cosmic vision, addressing Him as Yogeśvara — the lord of all yogic power. This humility marks his readiness to receive the grace.
