Chapter XIII · Śloka 29
समं पश्यन्हि सर्वत्र समवस्थितमीश्वरम् ।
न हिनस्त्यात्मनात्मानं ततो याति परां गतिम् ॥
न हिनस्त्यात्मनात्मानं ततो याति परां गतिम् ॥
samaṃ paśyan hi sarvatra samavasthitam īśvaram |
na hinasty ātmanātmānaṃ tato yāti parāṃ gatim ||
na hinasty ātmanātmānaṃ tato yāti parāṃ gatim ||
Seeing the Lord established equally everywhere, one does not injure the Self by the self, and thus reaches the highest goal.
When the Lord is seen equally in all, one ceases to harm others — for to harm another is to harm the Self that dwells in both. This non-violence born of unity-vision leads directly to the supreme destination.
