Chapter II · Śloka 53

When your intellect, which has been bewildered by the conflicting testimony of scripture, stands firm and immovable in deep contemplation, then you will attain yoga.
Śruti-vipratipannā: 'tossed about by conflicting scriptural teachings' — an honest acknowledgment that texts give divergent guidance. True yoga is not more erudition but the still point where the intellect no longer oscillates and rests in samādhi.
