Chapter II · Śloka 72
एषा ब्राह्मी स्थितिः पार्थ नैनां प्राप्य विमुह्यति |
स्थित्वास्यामन्तकालेऽपि ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृच्छति ||

eṣā brāhmī sthitiḥ pārtha naināṃ prāpya vimuhyati |
sthitvāsyām anta-kāle'pi brahma-nirvāṇam ṛcchati ||
sthitvāsyām anta-kāle'pi brahma-nirvāṇam ṛcchati ||
This, O Partha, is the divine state of Brahman. Having attained it, one is no longer deluded. Established in it even at the hour of death, one reaches the nirvana of Brahman.
The Gita's closing word for Chapter II: brāhmī sthiti, the Brahman-state, and brahma-nirvāṇa, extinction into the Absolute. The promise is total — one who realises this is beyond delusion forever, and even a deathbed realisation is sufficient for liberation.
