Chapter V · Śloka 7
Śrī Kṛṣṇa uvāca
योगयुक्तो विशुद्धात्मा विजितात्मा जितेन्द्रियः |
सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मा कुर्वन्नपि न लिप्यते ||
सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मा कुर्वन्नपि न लिप्यते ||
yoga-yukto viśuddhātmā vijitātmā jitendriyaḥ |
sarva-bhūtātma-bhūtātmā kurvann api na lipyate ||
sarva-bhūtātma-bhūtātmā kurvann api na lipyate ||
One who is united with yoga, of purified self, with conquered self and conquered senses, whose self has become the self of all beings — even while acting, he is not tainted.
The liberated person acts within the world as freely as wind moves through open space — touching everything but held by nothing. Their purity is not withdrawal but an inner condition that transforms the very nature of their engagement.
