Chapter VI · Śloka 45
प्रयत्नाद्यतमानस्तु योगी संशुद्धकिल्बिषः ।
अनेकजन्मसंसिद्धस्ततो याति परां गतिम् ॥
अनेकजन्मसंसिद्धस्ततो याति परां गतिम् ॥
prayatnād yatamānas tu
yogī saṃśuddha-kilbiṣaḥ |
aneka-janma-saṃsiddhas
tato yāti parāṃ gatim ||
yogī saṃśuddha-kilbiṣaḥ |
aneka-janma-saṃsiddhas
tato yāti parāṃ gatim ||
But striving earnestly, the yogi perfected through many births, with all impurities cleansed, then reaches the supreme goal.
The trajectory of spiritual growth spans lifetimes; perfection is cumulative, not sudden. Each birth refines the vessel further until, when all obstruction is removed, the journey that seemed impossibly long arrives at its natural completion.
