Tvam · Chapter VI

Ātma Sanyama Yoga

The Yoga of Self-Discipline
The great chapter of meditation. Krishna describes the practice of dhyāna — the stilling of the mind as a flame in a windless place. Arjuna asks about the fate of the sincere but failing yogi. Krishna's answer is one of the most compassionate passages in all of spiritual literature: no sincere effort is ever lost.
