Chapter VI · Śloka 47
योगिनामपि सर्वेषां मद्गतेनान्तरात्मना ।
श्रद्धावान्भजते यो मां स मे युक्ततमो मतः ॥
श्रद्धावान्भजते यो मां स मे युक्ततमो मतः ॥
yoginām api sarveṣāṃ
mad-gatenāntar-ātmanā |
śraddhāvān bhajate yo māṃ
sa me yuktatamo mataḥ ||
mad-gatenāntar-ātmanā |
śraddhāvān bhajate yo māṃ
sa me yuktatamo mataḥ ||
And among all yogis, the one who with inner being merged in Me, full of faith, worships Me — that one I consider the most fully united.
The chapter closes by revealing the innermost secret: of all yogic paths, bhakti — loving worship with the entire inward self absorbed in the Divine — is the pinnacle. Faith (śraddhā) and interior absorption (mad-gatena antar-ātmanā) together constitute the highest yoga.
