Chapter XII · Śloka 7
तेषामहं समुद्धर्ता मृत्युसंसारसागरात् ।
भवामि नचिरात्पार्थ मय्यावेशितचेतसाम् ॥
भवामि नचिरात्पार्थ मय्यावेशितचेतसाम् ॥
teṣām ahaṃ samuddhartā mṛtyu-saṃsāra-sāgarāt |
bhavāmi na cirāt pārtha mayy āveśita-cetasām ||
bhavāmi na cirāt pārtha mayy āveśita-cetasām ||
For those whose minds are absorbed in Me, O Pārtha, I swiftly become their deliverer from the ocean of death and rebirth.
Krishna makes a direct personal promise: he himself becomes the rescuer of those who centre their consciousness in him, lifting them out of saṃsāra without delay. This is the unique grace of bhakti over other paths.
