Chapter VI · Śloka 30
यो मां पश्यति सर्वत्र सर्वं च मयि पश्यति ।
तस्याहं न प्रणश्यामि स च मे न प्रणश्यति ॥
तस्याहं न प्रणश्यामि स च मे न प्रणश्यति ॥
yo māṃ paśyati sarvatra
sarvaṃ ca mayi paśyati |
tasyāhaṃ na praṇaśyāmi
sa ca me na praṇaśyati ||
sarvaṃ ca mayi paśyati |
tasyāhaṃ na praṇaśyāmi
sa ca me na praṇaśyati ||
Whoever sees Me everywhere and sees all things in Me — I am not lost to him, nor is he lost to Me.
Krishna articulates the mutual indissolubility of the devotee-Lord relationship in the vision of universal identity. To perceive the Divine in everything is simultaneously to be held in the Divine's own recognition.
